1. Mainland Portugal and Spain - Shipping is free for orders over €48 and costs €4.90 for orders below this amount.
2. Islands (Portugal) - For the Azores and Madeira Islands, shipping is free for orders over €128 and costs €19.90 for orders below this amount.
3. Destinations within the European Union (EU) - Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout and may vary, in addition to weight, dimensions and number of packages, depending on other criteria defined by bybebé, namely:
a) delivery area (including any surcharges for remote areas);
b) selected service type and transit times;
c) the need for special packaging, bulky or fragile items, or items requiring special handling;
d) the value of the order, the goods and/or optional insurance;
e) fuel costs, tolls, peak/seasonal rates and other carrier surcharges;
f) additional delivery attempts, rescheduling, address corrections and ancillary services requested by the customer.
The amounts displayed at checkout reflect these variables and constitute the best estimate at the time of calculation.
4. Destinations outside the European Union.
For shipments outside the EU, shipping costs are calculated on a case-by-case basis. A quote must be requested in advance by emailing info@bybebe.com, indicating at least the destination country and postcode, the contents of the shipment, the weight and dimensions per package, the number of packages, the desired shipping method (standard/express) and any need for insurance/special packaging.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, shipments are made under Incoterm DAP (Delivered At Place), and the recipient is solely responsible for the payment of customs duties, local taxes, customs clearance fees, inspections and other charges applicable in the country of destination. Costs resulting from refusal of delivery, non-payment of charges, incorrect address or return due to inability to deliver will be charged to the customer.
bybébé reserves the right to select the carrier and to split the shipment into multiple volumes/shipments when this optimises delivery times, costs or transport safety, without prejudice to the customer.
5. Except for items that expressly indicate a different delivery time or items that are out of stock, delivery times are as follows:
a) Mainland Portugal - Delivery time is 24 to 48 hours on business days for payments made before 3:00 PM (excluding payments by bank transfer). Purchases paid for after 3:00 PM will be shipped the next business day. For payments made by bank transfer, the order will be shipped after bank confirmation of the successful transfer (this confirmation usually occurs within 48 hours).
b) Islands - For the Azores Archipelago, delivery times typically vary between 8 and 16 business days. Deliveries to the Madeira Archipelago can take approximately 5 to 10 business days. These delivery times are merely indicative, as irregularities in connections to and between islands, beyond the control of bybebé and the shipping company, may compromise compliance with usual delivery standards. Shipments to the islands of Corvo and Flores, located in the Azores Archipelago, may experience an additional 12 business days in transit.
c) Other Destinations in the European Union – For other destinations located in the European Union, delivery times vary depending on the country/region. After shipment, the customer will receive an electronic communication with the tracking code and carrier identification, allowing them to track the shipment and obtain updated delivery estimates.
The estimates provided are indicative and may be adjusted due to operational factors of the carrier, seasonality, weather conditions, and exceptional circumstances.
d) Destinations outside the European Union - For non-EU destinations, delivery times depend on the destination country, the service selected and, above all, customs procedures (customs clearance, inspections and document checks), which may cause additional delays beyond bybebé's control.
After shipment, a tracking code and carrier identification will be provided to track the shipment. The delivery dates indicated are best estimates and do not constitute a firm guarantee of delivery time, and may be changed for reasons of customs clearance, local regulations, force majeure events or access to remote areas.
bybebé only ships on business days. Therefore, weekends and holidays are not included in the estimated delivery time. In any case, estimated delivery dates are merely indicative. The estimated shipping time is added to the estimated shipping time, which depends on the order's destination.
6. bybebé uses third-party shipping companies to ship orders.
7. No deliveries are made to PO boxes.
8. bybebé only processes the shipment of an order placed by a Customer after confirmation of payment; therefore, we cannot guarantee the availability of items until the aforementioned processing begins.
9. Availability is understood as the time required for the product to be ready for shipping. For orders of two or more products with different availability, the later date should always be considered.
10. bybebé will always strive to meet estimated delivery times, but if it anticipates difficulties in meeting delivery deadlines, the Customer will be notified.
11. If any ordered product is unavailable, and after due diligence with the respective supplier to replace the missing item, bybebé will contact the Customer in the event of any variation in the delivery time or price of the item, and the order will only proceed with the Customer's consent.
12. If the originally ordered product is found to be completely unavailable, bybebé may offer the Customer the supply of a product of equivalent price and quality, if available. In this situation, the order will only proceed with the Customer's consent.
13. If the ordered product is found to be completely unavailable and cannot be offered an equivalent product in terms of price and quality, or if the Customer has not given consent to modify the order initially placed, bybebé will refund the amounts paid by the Customer within a maximum period of 14 (fourteen) days after notification of the cancellation.
14. To track an order in progress, the Customer must go to their online Customer area, created after registering their account, where they can check the status of their order or contact the bybebé Team using the form available on the website.
15. Upon delivery of the product to your home, it is important to carefully check the integrity of the packaging. You should indicate any anomalies detected on the carrier's Waybill (e.g., late delivery, damaged box, missing item). Then, contact us using the form available in our online store. If the packaging is in good condition but the product does not match the purchase, or if it is damaged inside, you must contact us within 48 hours.
16. In the event of additional delivery attempts, rescheduling, address corrections or ancillary services requested by the customer, the delivery period may be extended and additional costs may apply in accordance with the carrier's price list.
bybébé reserves the right to select the carrier, adjust the route and/or split the shipment when necessary to optimise delivery times, costs or security, without prejudice to consumer rights. In any case, the dates provided are indicative and depend on external factors beyond bybébe's control.
